LOVE TO DRINK? THIS IS FOR YOU!
HOW TO STAY SOBER WHEN DRINKING

A great Norwegian natural remedy for staying sober calls for fresh juice of carrots taken 15 minutes before starting to drink. The  beta-carotene and the natural fibers cling to the stomach and lessen the alcohol penetration to the bloodstream through the stomach and intestine walls,  hence lessening the chance of getting too drunk. It even helps with hangovers. The day after drinking you will feel better if you had the magic carrot juice before drinking.

Some Russian Soldiers that served in the Soviet Army have tried to deceive their sergeants by consuming some butter before drinking Vodka; butter oils the intestines and stomach, slowing down the alcohol penetration process. For the same reason, Russians have a tradition of consuming cooked pork fat (lard) with Vodka. Don't worry about cholesterol; it gets so cold in the winter, that all the consumed fat works on maintaining body  heat.

A post drinking remedy comes from Armenia; a concoction called Than is made from plain yogurt and water: mix 3/4 of water to 1/4 yogurt, add salt to taste (not mandatory) and enjoy. Yogurt is acid, which counteracts with alkaline (alcohol) and balances the pH in the stomach.

The results will vary depending on the amount of alcohol consumed at one time.
